About One Voice

More than just a choir. We're a community brought together through the joy of singing.

At One Voice Community Choir, we believe singing is for everyone.

Whether you've sung in choirs for years or only ever sung along to the radio in the car, you'll find a warm welcome waiting for you.

We are a friendly, inclusive community choir based in the heart of Frodsham, bringing people together through a shared love of music, laughter and friendship.

Our members come from all walks of life, united by the simple joy of singing. There are no auditions, no pressure to perform perfectly and no requirement to read music. Just enthusiasm, encouragement and a willingness to have fun.

Over the years, One Voice has become about so much more than music. We've built lasting friendships, supported local charities, performed at community events and created unforgettable memories together. Every rehearsal is filled with energy, encouragement and plenty of laughter.

Whether we're preparing for a major concert, entertaining audiences at local events or simply enjoying our weekly rehearsals, our aim is always the same—to share the joy of singing and make everyone feel they belong.

If you're looking for a choir where you'll be welcomed from your very first visit, we'd love to meet you.

Come along and discover why we're #MoreThanJustAChoir.

How it all began

Founders Ann Johnson & Phillippa Mulholland

One Voice Community Choir began in October 2019 when founders Ann Johnson and Phillippa Mulholland shared a vision of creating a welcoming choir where everyone could enjoy singing, regardless of experience.

What started with just 27 members has grown into a thriving community choir at the heart of Frodsham.
